Please read these terms carefully before using our service.
To register, you must fill out the registration form and upload your KYC documents, such as a copy of your PAN card and Aadhaar card. There is a one-time, non-refundable registration charge of ₹6,000/-.
To activate a bid, you must submit a security deposit of ₹10,000/- or 10% of your bid amount, whichever is greater. When a vehicle's bidding closes, we notify customers via email if they have been outbid. However, we also recommend that customers regularly check their bid status on the "My Bids" page before the auction ends. After the public bidding, our affiliated dealer will bid on your behalf at the closed Insurance Auction. If the bid is accepted, the vehicle is acquired for you.
Documentation fees, loading fees, transportation costs, etc., are not included in the bid amount and will be added on top of it. These additional fees vary depending on the vehicle's price, auction type, and location. Please note that VahanBid charges a service fee of ₹5,000/- or 3% of the winning bid amount (whichever is higher), which is not included in the offer price.
The winning bidder must prepare a Demand Draft for the agreed-upon amount within two (2) working days and arrange to collect the vehicle. All vehicles are sold on an "As Is, Where Is" basis.
The purchaser is responsible for transferring the vehicle's registration (RC) in the RTO's records within 60 days of the purchase date. All costs associated with the RC transfer are to be paid by the purchaser.
The purchaser must insure the vehicle at their own expense and provide a copy of the insurance policy to the seller within 15 days of the sale. The purchaser must ensure the vehicle is not used on public roads unless it is properly insured in accordance with the Motor Vehicle Act.
